Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Medical Office Assistant to join our dynamic healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing administrative support within a fast-paced medical environment, ensuring that patient care is prioritized and operations run smoothly.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and assist patients upon arrival, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
  • Schedule appointments and manage patient records with accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Support patient care by preparing examination rooms taking vital signs and assisting with procedures as needed.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the office environment.
  • Collaborate with medical staff to ensure efficient patient flow and high-quality service delivery.
  • Handle incoming calls, respond to inquiries, and provide information regarding services offered.
  • Document patient interactions accurately in electronic health records (EHR).

  • NEW GRADUATES WELCOME - On the job training!
  • Proficiency in medical terminology.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to provide exceptional patient service and build rapport with diverse populations.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while managing multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Familiarity with EHR systems is advantageous but not required; training will be provided.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
