Description: These MAs will be going site to the site covering call-outs, long-term LOA's, CTH openings (36 - 40 hours per week). The primary job function will be to perform front office and back office duties for different practices throughout the Orange County area. Front Office Duties: checking patients in, scheduling appointments, verifying insurances, heavy phone volume, HIGH level of patient-care first customer service. Back Office Duties: Rooming patients, obtaining vitals, assisting in procedures, EMR charting of patient information, etc. The contractor will be expected to float to different sites throughout their assignment. They could be placed at one location covering an LOA and go permanently there, they could need to float weekly, bi-weekly, monthly, etc. THE CANDIDATE MUST BE FLEXIBLE. I Will be covering different specialties, will be covered front AND back duties as needed. Must be comfortable around potential COVID patients. Will be provided proper PPE. Mask, face shield, gloves, gowns, etc. These candidates will float to the outpatient draw station as well - will need to have an active CPT license as well as a Medical Assistant License.
