Company description

A relatively new podiatry medical office -- office open 4 days a week, but only seeing patients 2.5 days a week. Dr. Azar performs in office foot procedures and surgeries at the hospital/surgery centers. Patient population majority Spanish speaking.

Job description

Looking for a Part time Medical Assistant for Podiatry/medical Office to handle Front and Back office duties such as: verify insurances, get pre-authorizations, scheduling, checking in patients, answering the phone, checking vitals and assisting in procedures if necessary.

Requirement:
Must be available to work on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays 9 to 5

  • Previous experience in medical field is Highly recommended
  • Familiarity with medical pre-authorizations and verifying insurances.
  • Strong communication skills- Spanish Bilingual preferred
  • Ability to multitask
  • Must be computer literate and with Electronic Medical Record background is a plus
