We're seeking an experienced Medical Biller and Coder to join our team and help us improve our billing procedures and efficiency. The Medical Biller will be responsible for billing and patient follow-up, as well as training and mentoring other employees in this area. This is a great opportunity for someone who is hardworking.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years experience in Medical Billing and Coding in Vascular Surgery
• Experience with Epic
• ICD10 and CPT proficient
• Experience in Medicare/Medi-Cal, PPOs, HMOs guidelines and regulations

Responsibilities:

- Responsible for accurate and timely adjudication of claims according to guidelines

- Analyze, process, research, adjust claims

- Maintain quality and productivity standards as set by management

- Alerts manager of issues that impact production and quality

- Review services for appropriateness of charges

- Customer service and organizational skills required

- Other duties as assigned by management

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $24.00 - $30.00 per hour
