Seeking Medical Front Office Assistant for Musculoskeletal and Integrative Medicine private practice in Lake Forest, CA.
This is a front-facing position to offer support to a physician, management, medical, and non-medical staff. The role encompasses basic daily activities of the medical professional office in addition to engaging and communicating with patients, collect payments, manage the appointment calendar, order supplies, process sensitive medical documentation, and act as a public face for visitors.
The ideal candidate is experienced with fee-for-service medical practices, familiar with google office suite, has good writing skills, respects privacy, and is sensitive to confidential information.
They have excellent administrative skills, clear communication, a warm and cheerful personality, positive attitude, strong work ethic, and make others feel welcome in any environment.
This is a part-time position.
Must be available for remote/in-office on Tuesday. In-office on clinic days Wednesdays, Thursdays & Fridays.
Salary Range: $18 - $22 /hour. Actual compensation may vary based on geographic location, work experience, skill level, and education.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
· Front desk work
· Process client documentation
· Administrative support
· Email, text, and phone communication
· Answer questions or escalate requests
· Maintain organized paper and electronic files
· Phone communication and follow up with patients
· Use EMR and google docs (Google office suite)
· Maintain highest level of confidentiality with sensitive information
· Perform other related duties as assigned
· Assist patients with completion of consent forms for indicated procedures
· Keep front office/refreshment station stocked and clean
· Frequently review schedule to assure accuracy
· Conduct appointment confirmation
· Check patients in and out
· Responsible for accurate invoicing and payment collection
· Confirm patient appointments daily
· Contact patients with pre and post treatment instructions
· Assist providers and staff with patient flow
· Maintain cleanliness of front desk and reception area
· Maintain professional appearance
· Maintain patient confidentiality, including HIPAA and practice specific compliance guidelines
· Ship and receive packages
· Greeting guests & members in a professional manner and delivering elite customer service.

Remote/In-clinic work: Tues - minimum 1-4 hours per day
In-Clinic: Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays – 8:30-5:30pm,
