Position Summary: Serves as the first point of contact, welcoming and directing both visitors and calls appropriately.

Ideal candidates will be outgoing, personable, comfortable with technology, and eager to represent DISA well. Responsibilities/Job Duties: Average % of time split among daily duties Responsibility 50% Assist visitors by greeting, welcoming, directing and announcing them appropriately. Answers incoming phone calls and emails to answer customer questions, look up client and test information, respond to inquiries, clarify procedures, and give directions. May research information and make outbound calls as needed.

  • Maintain security by following procedures and controlling access (monitor logbook, issue visitor badges) • Update appointment calendars and schedule meetings/appointments • Check in clients 30% • Perform other clerical support and receptionist duties such as mailings, filing, special projects, etc. • May make service calls as needed for things such as building maintenance issues (plumbing, pest control, electrical, light bulb replacement, etc.) • My track or order common office supplies breakroom supplies, and other office items needed. • Responsible for keeping the reception area neat, clean and presentable. 20% • Performs common administrative office tasks such as sorting mail, faxing, copying, collating, etc.
Performs other miscellaneous administrative tasks, as needed. Qualifications Required: • Experience using Microsoft Office, particularly in Outlook, Excel, and Word • Experience in a similar role in an office environment or ability to learn the job • Professional appearance • Solid communication skills, both written and verbal • Ability to be resourceful and proactive in dealing with issues that may arise • Ability to organize, multitask, prioritize, and work under pressure Education Required: High school diploma or GED Language Required: Spanish Bilingual Travel: None Physical Working Conditions (ADA): The physical demands and work environment characteristics described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Possibly a Saturday if needed for a meeting.
