Department: Lab Requirements: 2 year work experience in health care setting 1 year exp. With data entry functions 1 year of exp. with insurance verification, authorization and eligibility requirements for health insurance carriers High School diploma or equivalent Preferred: Functional EPIC knowledge preferred Bilingual Spanish/English

Job Summary: Patient Access Representative II secures and provides appropriate information to patient families and funding sources to register, schedule and/or obtain authorizations for inpatient, outpatient, and/or diagnostic services. Experience/general knowledge of managed care health plans; knowledge of scheduling, registration, billing and/or claims payment. General knowledge of medical terminology or 6 months demonstrated work experience in a healthcare settingYour application allows GLS to represent you.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
