We are seeking a Patient Intake Manager / Hospice Admin Support to become a part of a dynamic environment! Hospice administration/intake knowledge preferred. Medical background and clinical knowledge desirable.

You will perform routine administrative support assignments to keep the hospice running smoothly. You will be in charge of patient intake upon referral from A-Z. This position will be offered the opportunity and the training to excel to the hospice administrator level!

Responsibilities:

• Handle administrator assigned duties in a timely manner
• Assist in the process of patient intake
• Manage office personnel
• Maintain relationships with Case Managers, Nursing Homes, Hospitals, Physicians, and other referral sources.
• Assist with scheduling ambulance transportation, ordering supplies and equipment
• Communicate with hospitals, nursing homes and assist with Explanation of Hospice Benefits to patients and families
• Facilitate in-person or phone appointments with patients' families and physician

​Qualifications:

• Previous experience in healthcare administration or other related fields. Hospice experience preferred
• Familiarity with patient intake process
• Ability to work with a variety of healthcare professionals and administrator
• Strong organizational skills
• Strong communication skills

Pay: From $56,000.00 per year
