Starting at $16.50 hr

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Answering and documenting incoming phone calls.
Ability to work in a high-volume call center environment.
Scheduling and confirming Patient’s appointments, providing preparation instructions.
Ability to learn new concepts and information effectively.
Verifying correct coding/eligibility for patient charts.
Responding to email correspondences in a timely manner.
Request and enter prior authorization documentation from healthcare providers
Prepping patient charts, obtaining resident MD approval.
Demonstrates customer service excellence consistently. Ability to prioritize appointments, stay organized, ensuring excellent patient experience and care.
Ability to meet the performance goals established for the position in the areas of: Key Performance Indicators, member satisfaction and attendance

Qualifications:

High school Diploma or higher
Aptitude for quickly learning and navigating new technology systems and applications.
Customer service experience
Spanish speaking is a plus.***
Familiar with insurance verification; including HMO/PPO plans, CPT codes, and ICD 10 (preferred).
Willingness to learn and understanding clinical information obtained and can explain clinical information to both patient and/or provider
Communicate and collaborate with team-members and providers to resolve issues, using clear, simple language to ensure understanding
Effective oral and written communication skills.
Action-oriented - Takes on new opportunities and tough challenges with a sense of urgency, high energy, and enthusiasm.
Able to work, communicate and collaborate with others effectively and efficiently.
Demonstrates self-awareness - Uses a combination of feedback and reflection to gain productive insight into personal strengths and opportunities for growth and development.
Can quickly find common ground and solve problems for the good of all.
