APR Consulting, Inc. has been engaged to identify a Patient Services Registration Clerk

Location: Ontario, CA 91761

Position: Patient Services Registration Clerk

Pay Rate: $20.32/hr.

Duration: 5 months

Work Shifts 7- 3:30pm, 3pm – 11:30p and 11pm – 7:30am.

Our client is one of the largest non-profit health plans founded in 1945 which offers comprehensive, affordable health coverage plans for individual & family, Medicare, employers, and large group.

Top Daily Responsibilities:

• Hospital account registration process, cash handling exp. completing and delivering regulatory forms (MOON, OON, IM letter etc.) and insurance verification, and adding primary and 2ndary coverage to the accounts – professional and hospital accounts. Obtaining authorization, working WQ’s and releasing patient valuables.

Top (3) Required Skills Candidate Should Have:

• Insurance verification experience and hospital registration required, cash handling experience is required

Additional Skills Preferred:

• 45 WPM
• KP health connect system knowledge, word, excel exp.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma

At a minimum, a 7-year background check, education verification, employment verification, and drug screen will be conducted upon hire. Your suitability for employment is contingent upon successfully passing these required pre-employment screenings.
