Pharmacy Clerk Job Responsibilities:

• Typing Prescriptions
• Help prescribers and patients by greeting them in person and by phone, answering questions and requests, and referring inquiries to the pharmacist.
• Maintains a safe and clean pharmacy by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Maintains records by recording and filing physicians’ orders and prescriptions.
• Ensures medication availability by delivering medications to patients and departments.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:

• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent
• Previous experience in a pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.50 - $19.00 per hour
