Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Medcare Medical Pharmacy. In this role, you will play a vital role in providing efficient and accurate medication dispensing to our patients, while upholding the highest standards of professionalism and customer service.

Responsibilities:

• Receive, process, and verify prescriptions under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
• Accurately measure and dispense medications according to prescriptions and pharmacy protocols.
• Label medications clearly and accurately with all required information.
• Maintain accurate medication records and inventory.
• Provide excellent customer service by answering questions, addressing concerns,and ensuring a positive patient experience.
• Assist pharmacists with administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and insurance processing.
• Comply with all applicable laws and regulations related to pharmacy practice.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Participate in ongoing training and education to stay up-to-date on new medications and procedures.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Pharmacy Technician certification (preferred).
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a pharmacy setting (preferred).
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficient in computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
