As part of the Scripps Health pharmacy team, pharmacists and pharmacy technicians provide a broad range of clinical services at our sites and work collaboratively with physicians, nurses and other health care team members to deliver high-quality, efficient services to patients and staff. The Pharmacy Technician II is key in inventory management, pump compounding, investigational drug compounding, and supporting central prior authorization.
The Pharmacy Technician II is responsible for performing basic pharmacy technician duties. Works under the supervision of registered pharmacists. May assist with mentoring pharmacy technician I as assigned. Performs more advanced pharmacy technician duties that may include billing and/or IV Clean Room responsibilities based on site specific needs. May assist pharmacy management with administrative support duties.
This is a full time position with 10-hour shifts anytime between 5am and 7pm at Oceanside, Monday through Friday with occasional Saturdays. May float based on staffing needs.
