The Program Director will work under the supervision of the board of directors. The Program Director will monitor client progress, assist in the creation of the staff schedule, ensuring resident confidentiality and safety, maintaining healthy and professional boundaries with clients etc. The Program Director will perform duties while adhering to the organization's values and principals
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
o Bachelor's Degree in the field of Health Services, Social Services, or Public Administration, or the equivalent of at least two years’ experience in the field of alcohol and/or other drugs services
o Certification as an AOD Counselor with one of the certifying organizations approved by the California Department of Healthcare Services. The Clinical Director shall be certified in compliance with California State law to provide alcohol and drug counseling in pursuant of Section 13010, Title 9, California Code of Regulations or be a licensed professional that may include: LCSW, MFT, Licensed Psychologist, Physician, or Registered Intern in Section 13015
o Two years’ experience in management and administration skills
o Must have a completed TB Test, CPR/First Aid Certification, and Health Screening
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
o Manage, plan, and coordinate all program activities for the organization. TheProgram Director will be responsible for operations of the program.
o Hire, direct and train program staff
o Be a liaison between the staff and the board of directors
o Responsible for operations of the program
o Scheduling management and staff meetings, on a timely basis
o Coordinate planning and evaluation sessions for program review and revisions
o Reviewing participants' files to maintain accuracy and completeness of documentation
o Evaluation of staff performances
