POSITION SUMMARY

Reporting to the Senior Program Director or Clinical Manager, the Recovery Incentives Supervisor is responsible for the clinical, administrative, and budgetary operations of the program. This position oversees all recovery incentives services and is responsibility for assisting the ensuring the efficiency of the program.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

In addition to all components of the above position summary the following “Essential Duties and Responsibilities” are essential to successful performance in this position.

  • Overall reasonability for planning, development, oversite of specialized UCLA training, supervision and coordination of policies and procedures within the contingency management program.
  • Performs supervisory duties including recruitment, interviewing, hiring, training, develop and evaluating department staff; manages performance, conducts performance appraisals, conducts regular supervisory meetings, and recommends salary increases; takes disciplinary measures as needed.
  • Monitors and ensures the services follow DHCS and county policies and contract requirements regarding the service delivery and required training components, including the oversight and tracking of the gift card incentives.
  • Ensures all required reports for governing or funding agencies are completed in accurate and timely fashion.
  • Responsible for establishing and maintaining relationships with multiple referral sources. Ensures the clients are tracked for linkage to outpatient services or outside community resources.
  • Attend and participates in designated meetings, conferences, speaking engagements and media appearances as required.
  • Directs staff by assigning specific duties and issuing written or verbal instructions.
  • Conducts and/or reviews and approves all clinical documentation (assessments, reassessments, treatment progress, treatment plans, and client coordination of care plan) and conducts regular quality assurance and quality improvement reviews to ensure that all appropriate record-keeping is performed on a timely basis and that all governing agency regulations are fulfilled.
  • Attends all required staff training sessions in accordance with Phoenix House and state licensing requirements and completes all training on time.
  • Adheres to and promotes the Phoenix House Mission, Vision, and Values while acting as a role model for others.
  • Maintains accurate documentation in staff logs, client charts, facility forms, and other reports in a timely manner in accordance with policies, procedures, and regulations. Documents all notes, occurrences, and incidents in the Electronic Health Record as required and by the end of each shift.
  • Other duties as assigned.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

The incumbent in this position supervises the Recovery Incentives staff and services.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/CREDENTIALS

  • Minimum of a high school diploma or its equivalent; and be Certified as an Alcohol and Drug (AOD) Counselor recognized by The Department of Health Care Services (DHCS).
  • Minimum of one-year prior experience in a related field.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
  • Must maintain a valid California Drivers' License, have proof of automobile insurance, and maintain a safe driving record based on Phoenix House policy.

  • Must maintain a valid credential (if required for your position) during your employment.
  • Must obtain TB test clearance and update on a yearly basis.

  • Supervisory of staff experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in MS Office systems.

  • Skills and ability to engage and develop a rapport with patients and families of various backgrounds.
  • Bilingual in Spanish preferred.
