Position Summary:
Reports to the Clinical Coordinator, the primary responsibility of the Recovery Specialist is to ensure organizational effectiveness by providing leadership for the development and sustainability of organization's programs and partnerships. The Recovery Specialist will focus on the day-to-day management of the Recovery Programming. The Recovery Specialist will play a significant role in addressing day-to-day program challenges and give sound advice to the Clinical Coordinator
Essential Functions/Responsibilities
· Document signs and symptoms of use, relapse triggers, and crisis incidents in client’s file and discuss during case consultation with the Clinical Coordinator.
· Will have a broad understanding of re-entry services and behavioral health services, priorities are to provide mental health services, substance use disorder treatment and diversion programs for individuals in the criminal justice system; provide housing-related assistance, case management, peer support, recovery services, life skills, job skills training and civil legal services.
