Summary

Perform audits on all paperwork from gaming revenue that include Table Games, Soft Count, Cage, Food and Beverage, Retail and Hotel; to ensure revenue source documents flow through the accounting system to the general ledger.

 


Duties/Responsibilities

  • Audit online data, i.e., reading meters.
  • Audit cash/credit receipts, cashier transaction, and similar items to verify accuracy of recorded data.
  • Audit kiosk/ATM machines
  • Correct errors or list discrepancies for adjustment.
  • Prepare exception reports for non-compliance of internal controls
  • Must be physically present to work a regular, reliable, and predictable work schedule in accordance with business demands, and maintain a consistent and regular attendance record.
  • Perform special projects and other responsibilities, tasks, or duties as requested.

  • Serve as a contributing Team Member of the Soboba Band of Luiseño Indians enhancing the Casino’s operations in all its business endeavors.

Education / Qualifications

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • High School diploma or equivalent, required.
  • Six (6) months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred
  • Prior gaming experience in the related field preferred
  • Basic computer skills, proficient in Microsoft Office and the ability to use a 10 key calculator.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
    • Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
    • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
    • Must be able to provide evidence of eligibility to work in the United States of America.

    Certificates, licenses and registration

    • Ability to obtain and maintain a valid Soboba Tribal Gaming Commission license.
    • Required to submit to and obtain negative results on all drug and/or alcohol testing.
