Program Descriptions

The Clinical Supervisor/Head of Service (HOS) possesses and implements a basic knowledge and educational background applicable to work with individuals, groups, other disciplines, and community systems within as well as outside the agency. The Clinical Supervisor/HOS assists the therapists in their day-to-day responsibilities, including, but not limited to, clinical work, documentation, teamwork, and general supervision. This position is responsible for implementing the NBRTF program statement, policies, and procedures for STRTP Mental Health services according to the standards of State Licensing, DMH, Council on Accreditation, and other regulatory bodies.

Qualifications

Clinical Supervisor/Head of Service must meet one of the following qualifications:

1. Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)

2. Physicians

3. Psychologists or psychologists who have received a waiver pursuant to Welfare and Institutions Code Section 5751.2.

4. Licensed Clinical Social Workers or registered professionals pursuant to Welfare and Institutions Code Section 5751.2 .

5. Marriage, Family and Child Counselors or registered professionals pursuant to Welfare and Institutions Code Section 5751.2.

6. Registered Nurses

7. Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor or registered professionals pursuant to Welfare and Institutions Code Section 5751.2.

8. Psychiatric Technicians

9. Minimum of two years of supervisory experience and competence, specifically with DMH and Probation systems of care.

In addition to:

1. Must be 21 years of age.

2. Must pass a criminal fingerprint background check, TB test, Physical Exam, and Drug Test.

3. Valid driver's license and meet insurance requirements.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
