We're looking for an experienced Female Cerified Substance Abuse Counselor (CADC-1 or II), for a womens only treatment facilty. Applicant who can work with the clients to create a positive environment and encourage them to participate in daily schedule and activities. The right candidate will be responsible for overseeing administrative duties and documenting information in confidential files in order to facilitate the evaluation of resident status. The ideal candidate will be both compassionate and professional, and willing to put in the time and effort in establishing personal relationships with clients.

1. Provide counseling to individuals regarding the use and effects of alcohol and drugs
2. Provide individual and group counseling
3. Accept referrals from individuals, families, and agencies in the community
4. Maintain strict confidentiality guidelines regarding all clients, conversations, and referrals
5. Ensure legislation, standards, and guidelines are being followed
6. Provide community education and support programs, as requested
7. Distribute relevant information, as requested
8. Assists clients to meet all requirements and complete all assignments
9. Keeping all chart notes and filing current
10. Serve as a mentor and positive role model for the clients
11. Assist clients with UAs, and searching of property when necessary

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
