HealthRIGHT 360 offers residential treatment services designed to serve individuals and families with substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health disorders. Our program helps clients address addiction and related issues, increase skills, manage stressors, connect to supportive service, and build a foundation for lasting recovery. Residential programs run 24/7 and Individual and group therapy, family therapy, individualized case management, treatment planning, drug and alcohol counseling, Medication support services, and crisis intervention.

Job Overview
This is a union position.

Prototypes Women's center is a 180 bed residential facility for women and women with children. We provide comprehensive substance use disorder, mental health, and psychiatric care by an interdisciplinary team of professionals. Treatment episode ranges in time from 60 days to 6 months. Prototypes is a fast-based environment that treats acute care clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintaining facility oversight and safety of clients.
  • Regularly assess crisis situations as they arise.
  • Be available to assist clients who have personal problems or sleeplessness.
  • Regularly do rounds through all rooms where to make sure clients are where they are supposed to be.
  • Check all areas in chart room for any filing that may need to be done.
  • Assists with community outings.
  • Monitor medications only as instructed by medical department.
  • Immediately inform Manager on Call of a situation that is necessary and/or could need medical assistance.
  • Document any client activities that arise during the shift.
  • Drug test clients as required.
  • Work as a team at all times.
Education and Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Registered or certified substance abuse counselor.
  • If a registered counselor should be within last 25% of SUD educational program.
  • Basic understanding of child development, child abuse, substance abuse and self sufficiency issues.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred.
  • California Driver's License with proof of insurance.
