Full Job Description
OnTime COVID Testing is growing! OnTime COVID Testing is seeking qualified individuals to perform COVID-19 specimen collection at our testing facilities. We are looking for candidates who are team players, motivated, and eager to provide quality, compassionate care to our patients.
SHIFT OPTIONS: 7am-3:30pm or 10:30am-7pm, MON - FRI. Weekend availability preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Assist patients with registering on the patient portal
- Explain the testing processes and ensure patients are kept calm and comfortable
- Educate on basic information about the different test types
- Perform the COVID-19 test package including a rapid antigen, rapid antibody, and PCR test
- Confirm patient information and input rapid test results on company provided tablets
- Collect and process payment for same-day PCR results upgrade
- Prepare standard PCR tests to be shipped to the laboratory for processing
- Seal and label packages with PCR tests to be dropped off with the shipping carrier
- Prepare rapid PCR tests to be processed in-house
- Explain the timeline for getting test results and how to access testing records on the portal
- Properly dispose of biohazardous waste and sanitize testing area
- Wear appropriate personal protective equipment and follow all healthcare guidelines to maintain a safe, sanitary work environment
- Keep track of daily inventory
- Basic cleaning tasks (sanitizing, sweeping, mopping, trash removal)
- Other general housekeeping tasks (restocking supplies, charging tablets, basic opening and closing duties)
- Report to site manager and regional manager as needed
Qualifications:
- Must be a licensed or certified medical professional (Medical Assistant, Phlebotomist, Certified Nursing Assistant, Licensed Practical Nurse)
- High school diploma or GED
- Must be 18+ years of age
- Basic computer and technology skills
- Flexible availability preferred; nights and weekends will be required
- Must be willing to work holidays and/or overtime as needed
- Must be able to sit, stand, and actively move around for 8+ hours per day
- Ability to work under pressure and in a fast paced environment during times of high volume
- Ability to work with a team and cooperate for optimal workflow
- Ability to tolerate and quickly adapt to change with or without advance notice
- Must have reliable transportation and be punctual
- Must be fully aware of possible exposure to COVID-19 and willing to comply with all safety protocols
Uniform: Scrubs, PPE
Hours of operation:
- Monday – Friday, 7:00am – 7:00pm
- Saturday – Sunday, 7:00am – 5:00pm
