USP <795>/<800> Non-Sterile Compounding Technician (Part-Time → Full-Time)

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Compounding Technician to join our growing pharmacy team.

This position will begin as a part-time role Monday to Friday (4–5 hour shifts) focused primarily on non-sterile compounding, with the opportunity to expand into a full-time position within 3–6 months.

What You’ll Be Compounding

You will be actively preparing a variety of customized medications, including:

• Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT)
• Biest, progesterone, testosterone (creams & troches)
• Topical pain formulations
• Oral suspensions
• Dermatology compounds

You’ll be supported by a pharmacy clerk who assists with preparation, inventory, and cleanup—allowing you to stay focused on compounding accuracy and quality. Clinical Pharmacist will be available for training and to answer questions.

Schedule & Compensation

• Typical shift start: 12:00 PM (flexible for the right candidate)
• Initial schedule: ~20 hours/week
• Starting pay: $25-27/hour
• Growth opportunity: Transition to full-time within 3–6 months (if desired)

Requirements

• Active California Pharmacy Technician License
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening
• 1–2 years of pharmacy technician experience preferred
• Strong ability to:
• Perform basic pharmaceutical calculations
• Follow compounding worksheets and SOPs
• Maintain precision and attention to detail
• Ability to think critically and work independently
• Minimum of 2 professional references
